The Tannochbrae was a delightful hotel with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was lovely, reminiscent of a traditional Scottish inn, and the common areas were cozy and comfortable. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. With easy parking right outside and a welcoming host, it made my stay stress-free.
Only a small improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is to have a grab bar or handrail in the bathroom. This would provide extra support and stability, especially when using the shower.

We got excellent value for our money at Tannochbrae Villa - the room was comfy, clean, and had nice decor. The location was perfect, right off the square, and the staff treated us like royalty.
The hotel breakfast menu could have had a wider variety of items.

Located right next to a coop grocery and surrounded by tourist features in Speyside, this cozy B&B is a good place to stay while in the area. the rooms are clean and nicely styled, offering a quiet and quaint atmosphere. the owner is a gracious host, providing scotch pairings for the delicious meals. the breakfast is great and the private collection of whiskies allows for a wide selection to try out rare editions.
The prices for the whisky selection in the bar are quite high compared to other local pubs in the area.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my business trip, with easy access to various distilleries and attractions. The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the complimentary drink upon arrival was a pleasant surprise. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and tidy. One of the best aspects was the quietness of the room, despite being close to a main road. the parking was convenient and there were plenty of dining options within walking distance.
The hot water pressure in the basin was low, making it slow to fill up. It took a while to get a full basin.

The guest house is in a great central location in Speyside, a sympathic small town with many tourist features. It is right next to a Coop grocery store, making it convenient for any needed supplies. the rooms were clean and the service was wonderful. the breakfast served was amazing, with a wide selection of delicious food. the guest house also has a whiskey bar with a huge selection.
One negative aspect was the overpriced whiskey in the guest house bar, with much cheaper options available at a nearby pub.

Perfect pre-stay communication, warm and affectionate reception, impeccably clean and bright rooms, delightful breakfast with the best coffee in Scotland, tastefully decorated rooms and house. A hidden gem in the overpriced, outdated Scottish hotel industry. Don't forget to ask about the intriguing story behind the "Monkey Shoulder" whisky!

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the city center and other attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast served was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from.
The staff at the hotel were rude and unprofessional, which greatly affected our experience. The prices for the drinks at the bar were ridiculously high, considering the quality and size of the servings.

The communication before the stay was perfect, and the staff gave an affectionate reception. The location of the hotel was key, with easy access to local attractions. Plus, the breakfast offered the best coffee we had during our trip.
The hotel was overpriced, especially when compared to other nearby options. The selection of whiskies at the bar was tempting, but the prices were exorbitant.

The Tannochbrae in Dufftown was a wonderful find for my recent vacation. The charming decoration of the hotel, with its cozy seating areas and a delightful wood burner fire, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the comfortable seating throughout the hotel, which provided plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. The accessibility of the hotel was also excellent, with everything conveniently located on the ground floor and easy to navigate.
I would have liked more assistance from the staff in providing activities or outings specifically tailored for senior guests.
